There's an old phrase from long ago, that goes like this: "Nero fiddled while Rome burned." In essence, Nero involved himself in frivolous things, while Rome was in turmoil and parts of it were burning.
Today, we still have 13-23 MILLION citizens out of work and/or under-employed, with a persistent 8+% unemployment rate; our national debt, has grown to over 16 TRILLION DOLLARS (6 trillion in just 3-1/2 years); Obama has played 104 rounds of golf, and counting; OUR money, in the 100's of BILLIONS, have been given to so-called "green energy" companies, and was wasted when nearly all of them folded; while The White House wishes you would blame our 1st amendment and some fool who made a YouTube video about Muslim prophet Mohammad, while our flag burns in over 20 COUNTRIES; our embassies/consulates have been over-run; and most sadly, we lost FOUR Embassy serving citizens to horrible deaths when the US Consulate in Libya was over-run.
But, while Obama said he would not rest until Americans are back to work, he makes appearances on the day-time show, The View; has appeared on the David Letterman show; FAILED to meet with his own Jobs Council for nearly a year; failed to attend daily security briefings; appeared on The Tonight Show; The Daily Show; Oprah; Late Night with Jimmy Fallon; ... and so on. Just this past several days, Obama has appeared in some of these places, having fun with his entertainer friends, while families suffer!
At a time where the families of those slain, as well as those families who have and are losing someone in Afghanistan, and American families struggle to pay bills due to unemployment, Obama makes with the laughs and his "celebrity" appearances on TV. He "will not rest ....."????
Yes folks, Nero fiddles while Rome burns. Yet, there are those who appear to warm themselves by the fires, and will vote for this Jack Ass anyway.
