Along with the soaring sales, are a record number of "new" gun buyers. And of those, a record number of new "female" gun buyers.
These are not "gun nuts". These are everyday folks who have for one reason or another, decided to buy a gun, while they still can. Obama has them worried. Worried about losing their right to buy a gun of their choice, or maybe one at all!
I routinely visit a near-by major chain gun store, and with each visit, I see a variety of people at the gun counter, making mostly handgun purchases. I have seen on several occasions, older (retirement age) couples buying firearms. Or younger (20's-30's) men with their wives or girlfriends, looking over assorted firearms, again mostly handguns.
I've listened in, as the gun counter salesperson has described the differences between semi-auto and revolvers, to obviously new gun owning prospects. Or heard one older couple discussing the cost of one selection over another.
And, since around Christmas 2012, the shelves began emptying. As of this past week, all popular handgun and rifle ammunition shelves were empty from that store, and from other stores in the area I decided to check on. This is nation-wide too.
Yes, Obama has become our nation's best gun salesman! So much so, a friend of mine sent this bumper sticker to me. I guess he felt Obama needed the recognition for his unintended award!

By the way. All those sales could be in vain. IF Obama and friends get their way, CONFISCATION will be coming sooner than later, and they will attempt to have those new (and old) guns THEY decide we shouldn't have, taken away. DO NOT be fooled into thinking that can't happen. Where there is a will, there IS a political way!
Oh ... Almost forgot. Obama has also increased the National Rifle Association (NRA) membership to over 4 MILLION and climbing!
